How to remove ios 7 from an iphone 5 and put ios 6 back on it?

Its been a long time since ios 7 came out and now that ios 8 is released i'm hoping maybe apple will have opened up the window to change ios. I have an iphone 5 with ios 7 and desperately want to have ios 6 again. Any possible way to downgrade would be wonderful.

Sorry to say but the signing window for iOS 6 has been closed since the first release of iOS 7. There's no way that you can downgrade on iPhone 4s or above. Maybe it can work on iPhone 4

I backed it up to itunes, so where do i go from here? Do i do a factory reset and when its done, will it give me the option to use backup to put everything on my phone?   • How to restore my back up from ios 7 back to ios 6.1.3? OKAY. So i had the ios 7 beta and i didn't like it so i reverted back to my original ios for my i phone 4s. Now it says" The backup can't be restored to this iPhone because the software on the iPhone is too old." everytime i try to restore it. Then it says to update my phone back to the other ios, which i clearly can't because it isn't out yet. So help? I don't want to lose all my contacts and apps and notes and pictures. Please I NEED A TECH WIZARD!
