How to reset iphone 4s passcode?
I know i asked a question similar to this earlier, but i didn't get any answers that i wanted so i'm posting a better worded one.
i forgot my passcode and i really want to reset it. I tried plugging it into itunes and it tells me i need to enter my iphone's passcode before they could restore it. Can anyone please explain to me how to reset it?
I'm pretty sure if you forgot it, you have to brin it to either the place you bought it, or a retailer that sells iphones! I'm sure they will do it for you!

Contact apple go to their website and call them
1. Open iTunes
2. Turn off your iPhone
3. Plug your iPhone into your computer

-Once your plug it into your computer, the iPhone will start to turn on (you'll see the Apple logo).
-While it's turning on, hold down the Power button (top) and Home button (bottom) at the same time until you see the iPhone screen turn off.
-Once the screen turns off, let go of the Power button BUT make sure you keep the Home button pressed until iTunes shows that your iPhone will need to be restored.
5. That's it
**WARNING: all of your iPhone content will be erased (contacts, pictures, music, etc)**
Call your phone company with a diffrent phone or bring it in.
- Is there anyway I can bypass my passcode on my iPhone 4 or it's a 5 I'm not sure but I can't remember the passcode but I need it I know you can restore but I don't want to do that because I don't think I have the computer I backed it up to back then. And i don't know what update this is. Like I haven't see the emergency button there at all in any videos
- Iphone asking me for a passcode to install update. I never set up a passcode. Options? I just tried to update my iphone to 7.1.1 and i'm being asked for a passcode. I never set one up, but entered what I would have made it, and now have a message saying "FAILED. One more attempt". What happens if I get this final attempt wrong?
