How to restore a locked IPhone 5?
Okay, so I just got an IPhone 5 and I typed in the password making sure it was correct both times that I put it in but somehow it's not working anymore? Anyways, I did the whole restoring method on one computer and it didn't work… I tried it in another computer but it had an error and couldn't recognize the device… Please help! As soon as possible!
Plug in the iphone to the computer, make sure the sound volume is up on the computer so you can hear the sound when the iphone is plugged in. Press and hold both the power and home button, until the screen goes black, you will hear the computer make the disconnect sound, after 1 second of hearing that sound, let go of the power button, but don't let go of the home button, keep holding the home button until you hear the computer make the connected sound. Now wait for the computer to install the device and itunes should open up by itself (if not open up itunes), and say that the iphone is in recovery mode, press the restore button.

- Will the iphone be locked after restore? I backed up my phone awhile back. Recently I restored it to factory settings, if I restore it later with the previous back up, will the lock code I had on when I backed up my phone be re-initiated?
- Iphone Locked/Restore/Notes? Okay so basically i changed my password today while half asleep but i put the password in my notes. But its locked and you can't export notes with it being locked is there a way like that, i also don't have it backed up and i have important stuff on there and last thing what if i restore it and take out my sim card will that hold my pictures/videos/ect! 10 Points!
- If I restore my iPhone I'll have to get iOS 8.4 I don't want it. But I need to restore my iphone? Okay if I restore my iPhone I'll get iOS 8.4 which I do not want. So if I restore it and iOS 8.4 is now on my phone, will I be able to downgrade to iOS 8.3? But I need accurate answers. Because if I don't this and I can't downgrade then it'll suck!
- I'm locked out of my iPhone and can't restore it? I forgot my iPhone password. When I went onto forums it said to restore my iPhone so I went to do that but it said 'Go to iCloud Settings on your iPhone and turn off Find My iPhone before restoring your iPhone.' Obviously I can't do this because I'm locked out.
