How to stop Technology ruling and almost practically ruining my life?
I used to have a lot of gadgets, iPad, iPhone, DS, Smart Watch, TV, DVD's Laptop, the list was endless. Now al I have is an iPhone and a Surface Tablet. I've narrowed it down to the two. But i'm still constantly on them. And dare I say it. Browsing ebay, reading useless articles. I realise i'm not the only one here. But does anyone else feel that its ruining their precious days? Does anyone have any advise? I work 37.5 hours, I go skateboarding/surfing and I walk practically anywhere. But I still surf the net & play games on my tablet constantly when i'm home. Is this really that bad?
Over time, I do think it changes our habits of mind. I used to be a big reader as a kid and young adult, but the older I get, the less I read, and I sincerely believe this is primarily due to a shortened attention span that has been waning steadily for years. I have a hard time leaving my phone alone when I drive, even when my students are doing class activities.
So I don't think the act of being on a piece of technology is bad per se, but I do think it creates bad habits over time. In my experience, anyway.
- Why my iphone 5a says storage is almost full why I've almost nothing? So my iphone 5s says my storage is almost full while pictures is about 800! And I've no music no books and no big apps! This happened before And I tried deleting all pictures and most of the apps but nothing changed! So I had to format & update my phone then it worked… Now it happened again I can't delete my stuff because it's ridiculous! Why do I have to do this while my phone isn't really full:"( Now I have only 251 MB available:"
- Why is my battery life on my iPhone going down so fast and what can I do to stop it? I have an iPhone 4S and my battery usually is fine but since the update 6.1.3 it's going down crazy fast I'm not sure if the update is the problem but please tell me what I can do to stop this!
- Why does my iphone stop working after I change the date and how can I stop it from doing that? I changed the date to this day 5 years ago so I could extend my spotify premium trial (this actually works) but then me texts weren't sending or receiving same with BBM and Facebook and literally every other social network app and I couldn't connect to the App Store so I changed it back to auto and everything works but I want to stay on my spotify free trial please help
