You can't really tell. Just spam them with texts for like 10 minutes. If they don't respond to that, calls, facetimes, etc, but are responding to other people, instagram, snapchat, facebook, etc, then chances are they are blocking you
Text them 47 times. If they don't respond by then, they blocked you
You don't know. I use that option all the time though, its great.
Actually you don't know if you have been blocked or are just being ignored, either way it's the same thing, take the hint and don't text them, at least until they text you.
Best way to test if you have been blocked, is to text them from either a stranger's phone, or from a website that allows for texting to cell phones.
9 times out of 10 when people get a text from an unknown person, they always type back "Who is this?"
then text them from your number and type in "It was me", if they don't respond you have been blocked (heheh or ignored).
