How to tell if someone read your text? - 1

I have a samsung galaxy s3. Like in iphone, when you send a text, you can tell if the person has read the text or not because it says, "read" if the person has read it.

In Samsung galaxy s3, is there anyway you can tell if someone read your text or not? I have tried to google this but i couldnt find an answer.

(Please don't refer me to what's app and all those texting apps that are there because i know in those apps you can tell if someone read the text or not. I need to know weather the messaging in samsung galaxy s3 has that feature.)

Your network has to support delivery and read reports. Almost every phone supports them, but a lot of networks only seem to let iPhones use it.

  • Will my iPhone tell the person I read his text? I got a text and read it and remembered that my read receipts were off so I know it'd still say delivered on his phone. After I read the text, I went to go turn on my read receipts. Will it change right away from delivered to read even though I changed the settings after or will it still say delivered for him since I read it before I changed it?
  • Is there anyway to tell if someone read your text? I have an iPhone but the person I texted doesn't is there anyway to find out if they open the text. I have at & t if that matters 14 minutes ago - 4 days left to answer.
  • Is there anyway to tell if someone has read your message or not? I have an IPhone 4S… Sometimes I get "read at 4:30" or something and sometimes it just says delivered… Is there a difference? And can I make so I always know when someone reads it?
  • Is there anyway to see when someone has read your text message on an iPhone 5? I have an iPhone 5 and whenever my boyfriend texts me he knows when I've read it or not (that's a whole nother issue… ) and I wanted to know if I could know when someone saw/read a text I sent to them, like he has. How come other phones can do this? Isn't that a privacy issue?
