How to transfer music from my iphone to my new mac?

So I just bought a new macbook pro for college. My only problem is that I have approximately 4, 000 songs on my iphone and I'm not sure on how to get all of that music on to my mac. My itunes library that I used previously is on my PC desktop, but I want all that music to go to my new mac. Any help would be great.

I don't think you can directly move your music from your iphone to your mac-book pro, unless you have a purchased a song you can re-download it form tunes. However you can copy the itunes contents from your old PC by:

Getting your entire Library into a single folder. To do this there's a guide from Apple http://support.apple.com/.../kb/ht1364

Now all your Music, Videos and everything else you added to iTunes will be within the iTunes Folder
C: UsersyournameMusiciTunes
C: Documents and SettingsusernameMy DocumentsMy MusiciTunes

Now you just have to transfer and copy the entire iTunes folder (including the Library file and everything else) into your Music folder on the Mac, like any other simple folder or file.
/Users/yourname/Music/
possible paths to the iTunes folder and Library file:

If you already have an iTunes folder on your Mac you can give it a different name e.g. "iTunes Windows" and open it using the method described here http://support.apple.com/.../kb/HT1589

The back-sync options are at the links below.

You can use iPhone/iPad/iPod Manager for Mac. It supports to transfer files from iPhone/iPod/iPad to Mac or from Mac to them.
Dwonload and run it.
Connect iPhone to Mac.
Click "Music" on the left device panel, and select the songs you want to transfer.
Then hit "Import to Mac" button to send them to Mac.

An iPhone can be synced with only one iTunes account at a time.once you switched to a new iTunes account or a new computer. You have to authorize your iPhone to it at first, then you can upload music and video from iPhone to computer. You can use this tool that helped me before

As your Mac is new so you can't transfer music files until and unless you got authorized new iTunes account for Mac Pro. Because syncing is possible only with iTunes account so get it first, after that you can transfer by connecting your iphone with your Mac pro.
