How to turn off iPhone with broken power button and the screen canto recognize swipe?

I'm in some deep ****. My power button is broken, and my iPhone can't recognize my swipe everything I swipe to unlock. It's impossible to turn off my phone. Any ideas? Or I'm screwed?

Take it to apple

There are apps to use the volume controls of the iPhone to control the power/sleep button, it will get you by for the time you need to get it fixed.

Other than killing off the battery, nope.

  • IPhone lock button broken. Can turn off but how do i turn it on? The lock button at the top of my iphone is broken, but i have been using it fine as i have turned on 'Assistive Touch' and have been using the white dot that appears on screen. However, I'm worried about turning it off, and surely the white dot will disappeaer when the phone is off, and I will have no way of turning it on? Am I correct in thinking this?
