How to turn off message notifications/alerts on iPhone?
My sister uses my iphone often and i don't like her getting my text notifications. Is there a way to turn off notifications for my texts from popping up on my screen when she's using it? Yes i'm aware of being able to turn off the message preview but i want to turn off all message notifications/alerts
Go to settings. Notification center. Messages. You can turn them off in there.
- IPhone/No Incoming Ring Tone and Text Message Alerts sounds? My iPhone 4s 16gb is running iOS 5.0 and is not jailbroken. Suddenly I don't have sounds for the Incoming Ringtone and Text Message Alerts sounds, such as Unlocked sound, incoming call ringtone and dial pad sounds. I have tried to reset all settings but still I have no sound.
- Iphone 5: No text message sounds/ringer alerts? This is my first Iphone which I've had since Christmas and up to now I've had no problems with it. Whenever I get a text, an alert shows up but no sound is made. The same thing happens whenever I get a call too. I've checked my settings and nothing is on silent as far as I'm aware. I've also tried turning the phone on and off but nothing seems to work. I'm a bit of a technophobe when it comes to these things so any help is appreciated.
- How to turn on my alerts for iPhone 4? My area recently got flash flood alerts and I didn't get it. I read that you need to go to settings, then notifications, then you go under government alerts. I went down on notifications but I didn't see a government alert. My iphone is up to date. I have iOS 6.1.0 or whatever it is. So how do I turn on my alerts?
- How to turn on email alerts on iPhone 5s/iOS7? Here is what I currently have one: Notification Cenre > Mail > Alerts ON. Sound > On as 'Note' Show in notif centre > ON Show on lock screen > ON Sounds > New Mail > ON as Note Mail, contacts, calendars > Fetch new data > PUSH Why isn't it working? Aghhhhhh I use gmail btw
