How to unlock an icloud locked iphone? - 1

I bought an iPhone 4 from someone on kijiji. When I turned the phone on, It was icloud locked. I contacted the seller and they said that they bought it from someone else.
How can I get passed this?
I know that hackers and stuff do it all the time
How do you know it can be done? It can ONLY be done by Apple and obviously they will not do it.
It is a highly secure, encrypted lock, it Can't be bypassed. No matter what you may think, it is 100% impossible to bypass it unless you know the actual information.
Hackers do NOT do it at all, which is why you see so many locked phones on eBay. If it could be done then people would do it and sell the device for double the price than they would when it is locked.
There's no way around it. It is iCloud locked because the phone was either lost or stolen from the original owner. You have purchased a useless phone. That is why the person who you bought it from sold it in the first place. Because they knew it was useless.

No, there isn't a way. The whole idea of activation ("iCloud") lock is to prevent people like you from using a stolen phone, and it works very well. You bought a stolen brick.
