How to unlock iphone 4 for use on tmobile?
I'm buying an iphone from a friend of mine, who claims that the phone is already unlocked to be used on tmobile. I've bought "unlocked" phones in the past that were not fully unlocked. Now, I ask you, how does one unlock a phone to be used on tmobile?
If it is an AT&T iphone, go to http://phonerebel.com/unlock-any-iphone/#. If it is sprint/verizon it is not possible since there's no SIM card slot
Your friend would have to contact at&t and have them unlock the phone if she's paid for it thru a full contract cycle. If she say's it is unlocked already, take it to a t-mobile store and ask them to check it before you buy it.
