How to Unlock My IPhone 5s that is locked to Bell in Canada?

My cousin has giving me an iphone 5s that is locked to bell in canada and i need to unlock it and use it in the US I have already payed a fortune to have it fixed and i don't want to pay to have it unlocked i want to do it myself

You can't do it yourself, it can only be done by the carrier it is locked to or by Apple. It requires tools that you do not have and won't be able to get access to. There's literally no way of doing yourself or for free, you must pay.
