How to update my iOS version for iPhone 5?
Hello guys I'm using iPhone 5 and I want to update my iOS can you please tell me any way to do that?
Ok so there are 2 ways:
option 1: go into 'settings', then 'general' then 'software update' and it should go from there
option 2: plug iphone into your computer, download itunes, open itunes, click on the 'iphone' tab and click 'update' it may ask you too 'sync' or 'transfere stuff' that is all normal don't worry.
WARNING; updating your software can slow down your iphone a little! (if going from ios6-7)
The Easiest method is to do it over the Air.
1. Connect your device to a Wi-Fi network and also it would be better i you plug in your device to a power source.
2. Go to Settings and then to general
3.Tap on Software Update
4. Wait for a moment until they find the latest update
5. After you see the version tap Install & Install.
6. Let the Update be downloaded and after done install it.
7. Wait until the update installs
8. Finish the process at startup and your'e good to go
- Will my iphone lock if i update my IOS version? I recently bought an iphone4s from ebay. The seller explained that the phone was originally on At&t carrier ( I'm with T mobile) . He had it unlocked. He also jailbroke it too. What i want to know is, if i update the IOS will my phone lock again, or will it be okay?
