How to upgrade a jailbroken iphone 3GS to ios 6.0?

I have ios 4.1 right now. I've been wanting to download apps but it won't allow me unless I upgrade to ios 6.0. I can't just do a normal upgrade on itunes because I will probably lose Cydia. I've been trying to upgrade it with the restore option in redsn0w and I've tried it with sn0wbreeze. But they keep asking for a SHSH blob. Where do I even get one of those? I've tried saving my SHSH blob from my iphone with tinyumbrella but that one doesn't seem to work. It says, "Invalid /Device+ios combination!" I'm extremely lost!
