How to use my iPhone 4 without a sim?
I'm not sure what the carrier is, but I can't get a sim for it any time soon and I just bought it. It's on iOS 7.0.2. I'm just trying to activate it to use it as an iPod, I'm not worried about the service.
You will need a sim to activate the phone. Borrow an active sim from a friend to activate it. Once that's done, take out the sim and you're good to go to use it as an iPod.

- Locked iPhone and need sim card to use because I restarted it but i don't have the specific sim I need. Please i'm desperate? Ok so my aunt got me an iPhone from Canada but its sim locked and it says I need to insert a sim card for it to work. The problem is i don't have a sim from that specific company that locked it and the only thing I can do is emergency calls and all that. I can't even use it as an iTouch or something.

Okay my moms is supposed to be getting the iPhone 6s and I live with my dad but I supposed to be moving back with her soon the thing is they have different cellphone company s. Anyways if I get the sim free iPhone will I be able to just put a SIM card in it without haveing to change contracts threw the phone
- If i bought a sim free Iphone could i get a o2 sim and use it from there? This is probably a really stupid question, but i've no idea how these things work! Haha So basically if i bought an Iphone from carphone warehouse, which is sim free then went to o2 and got a pay and go micro sim- would this work?
