How to use my straight talk on and iphone 3gs?
We just bought this iphone 3gs for dirt cheap. We have straight talk and thought that we could just take the sim out of that and put it in the iphone. Will that work or do i have to order some a.t.and.t.compatable sim that i keep hearing about. I really need some help so if i could get a straight forward answer thats not too compicated for the not techy people here.lol… That would be great, but anything will do.
As long as the current SIM you are using is am AT&T compatible SIM for Straight Talk, then it would work. There are only 2 types of SIMs that Straight Talk sells, which are for T-Mobile or AT&T. Also, you would have to go to your settings and change the APN settings to use voice, text, and data for the IPhone. Straight Talk's website has those settings or you can do a search online for "Straight Talk iPhone APN settings" to get those settings. Otherwise, if you have a T-Mobile compatible SIM, you will have to order a new Straight Talk SIM online for $15 from them.
- Using iphone 3gs with straight talk? Okay I'm confused. I have a straight talk smart phone already but want an iphone so i bought an unlocked 3gs to use. I put my sim card in it thinking that would be all i had to do but it won't work. I can text on it but when i try to use the internet it says it isn't connected to the internet. Do i have to buy a brand new sim card and activate it then? Also i can't get hardly any service, one bar at the most when i would normally have full service. Ugh help!

- Straight talk Iphone 3gs running 4.1 won't send mms pics? I have tried everything I can find, and my Iphone 3gs 32gb running 4.1 won't send mms pics. I initially tried straight talks fix, didn't work. My phone is jailbroken. I then installed tether me, and Swirlymms2, and still the phone won't send pics. Can anyone give me a fix for this?
- Straight Talk for AT&T iPhone 3GS? I got the AT&T compatible straight talk SIM card. The calling/texting is working. However, I can't change the APN settings. There's no "Network" tab. I want to do this without jailbreaking if possible.
