I accidentally washed my iphone 5 earphones?

I forgot that they were in my pocket. When i realized that they were gone there was only 14 minutes left for the washing machine to start. Then when i told my mother to check if they were in there, she couldn't find them last night when she went to transfer clothes to the dryer. She found them this morning. And obviously they were dried. Is there any way they still work? Like i'm guessing there's no water left in them. I'm also scared to try them, for the risked of being shocked.

Well i had my Apple earphones go through the washing machine at least 3 times a week and they work better then when i bought them so i would have to say that they are.One of the wires got a little loose because of the centrifuge force

  • Washed My Iphone 4S in sweatpants? So i accidentally washed my iPhone in my sweatpants pocket it had a two layer case on it. I tried turning on but the screen just stayed black. And then i put the phone on the charger and it still did not work. My mom told me to put in in rice but i read that if i already charged it or tried to turn it on i'm screwed. So what i'm asking is should i even try to put it in the rice or just give up and wait till my next upgrade.

  • My iPhone makes one of my earphones to stop working? Whenever I plug my earphones into my iPhone 3GS it works for about a day, but then will suddenly kill the left ear, you can't hear it if you plug it into any other MP3 player. There's a small crack next to the jack which I think could be the reason why. Is there any way to fix this.
