Just go to http://Answernode.com - it has got a free unlocking software up; there's a Mac version and a Windows version though so choose the right one.
Once it is unlocked it will work anywhere so long as you put a local sim card in it

After update i checked my imei on the imei checker to find out whether its still Locked but it says unknown, I tried inserting my sim without my R Sim which says under carrier My current network Dialog,.
