I can't import All of my photos from my Iphone?

I've connected my Iphone 4s up to my laptop (running windows 8) and clicked the 'import photos and videos' option. I started the download but realized that it was only importing around 3000 photos which is half of the amount of photos Itunes is telling me I have on my Iphone which is around 6000. (I know I have a lot of photos) Why is this happening?

If it helps it seems to be importing photos going from oldest to most recent. The import isn't done yet, does this mean that the more recent photos won't be imported.

  • Why can't I import the photos from my IPhone 5 to my Macbook Pro? So I have a little over 1000 picture on my IPhone 5 and i want to get them to go onto my Macbook Pro laptop. I know this probably sounds stupid, but I just can't seem to figure it out! I've researched a lot of stuff and even went onto the apple website! I asked a few of my friends who have PC laptops and they said that a little pop-up came out in the corner of their screen asking to sync their photos. Well of course my doesn't have a pop-up.
  • Why can't I import all of my photos from my iPhone 5S to my Windows 10 PC? I have 1,516 photos that I desperately need to removed from my iPhone 5S and imported onto my Windows 10 computer, but I'm running into a strange issue. When I go to the photos app on my PC, and click "Import from a USB device," instead of giving me the option to import and delete all 1,516 photos from my phone, I only get the selection to import 9 random pictures. And when I try to import the 9 random photos, it gives me an error.
  • My iPhone will sync, but I can't import photos? When I plug my iPhone 4s into my laptop, iTunes works fine, but the 'autoplay' pop-up option doesn't appear so I can import photos from my phone to my laptop. I've tried going into My Computer, but it's not listed. I've also tried unplugging it and restarting both my phone and laptop. I'm just wondering if there's a way to switch 'autoplay' back on as it does not appear any more, or if there are settings on my phone I need to fix.
