I deleted apps but it didn't free up space?
I got a notification saying my iphone's storage was almost full so i clicked manage storage to see which apps were taking up the most space. My twitter app seemed to have taken up 5.2GB (i'm used to it building up after a while) i deleted the app and i was going to reinstall it in a moment but i checked my storage to make sure it freed up space but it didn't? Do you think my phone is just glitching or something?
If you didn't empty the trash, the file(s) are still there. Empty the trash, then try again.
What I noticed on my iPhone is that when I go to delete an app or anything it might take a bit of time to update how much storage there's.
- My iPhone suddenly went from having 9.4 gb of free space to 7.5 gb of free space? I didn't download any apps or anything, or record any videos or take pictures. I didn't do anything, it just all of a sudden happened today. How can I fix it? I have a 16gb iPhone 5
- IPhone used space and available space are far from adding up? On my phone it says 12gb used space and 1.5gb available but I have a 16gb phone, while leaves a 2.5 gb space gap. Does iOS take up that much space on its own or is something wrong?
- IPhone 4S deleted all apps even apple apps? Last night my phone was freezing up so I turned it off and back on and when it restarted I had no messaging, phone, settings, iTunes, App Store, etc and I've turned it on and off and reset it several times. When I get a text I can see that I got it but when I click on it nothing happens I can't view the message.
- I've deleted almost everything on my iphone 4 but still just a gig of free space? So i've honestly deleted all downloaded content on my iphone 4 and it says i've used 6.4 gb of data and only 1.1 gb of space! How do I make more space! I only have iOS6 btw.
