I dropped the top of my iPhone into some water (it only went up as far as the beginning of the screen) it seems to be working fine, but is there anything I should do to make sure, or will it be okay?
No just stick it out if it seems right
Wipe it all over and put it in a bag of uncooked rice overnight, this absorbs water.

I know it sounds weird… The first time I heard this I was like "What?" but it works. The rice absorbs any extra moisture.

Well… Let it dry. If it's working after you dropped it in water, it won't suddenly stop working. You'd have to mess up the circuits, fry the battery, etc. It looks like that didn't happen. DO NOT apply heat (like a hair drier).It might damage the internal parts or separate anything that is glued.
Yes turn it off straight away and leave it in s bag of uncooked rice for a day or two, as for if the phone will survive no one can say, I think iPhones are easily damaged by water I had mine in my pocket and got caught in some rain I got soaked through, my phone got a bit wet to, 3GS never worked again a friend dropped his blackberry in a sink full of water it had problems afterwards randomly turn off etc, but still worked.
Keep it somewhere dry so it will completely dry out
Keep it dry but as suggested rice helps iPhones are tough to break

- I dropped my Iphone in water - no water damage showing on indicator? Here is the situation. I dropped my Iphone 5 in the toilet (I hadn't peed yet so all good there). Immediately switched it off, dried it and put it in a bag of rice. This was at about 6 p.m yesterday. This morning without turning it on I opened up the sim compartment to check the circle for water damage (checked online and apparently this is where to check for water damage). The indicator was white. It is back in the rice but I was wondering - when you think it will be ok to turn back on?
- I dropped my iPhone in water - 3 I just dropped my phone in water about a minute ago(it's 9:25 PST). I hurried up and got it out dried it off as fast as I could. It was working fine until now. It keeps popping up "charging not supported on this device" and also I just found out the sound isn't working! Now I can't even listen to all the money I spent on my songs. Is there anything to help this? I was thinking I can back it up on iTunes? Would that help? I don't know I just need major help please.
