I dropped my iphone 5 in the toilet? - 1
I'm stupid and dropped my iphone 5 in the toilet. I picked it up as quickly as i could and dried it, it was still on but then it turned off. I've left it in rice for five days and tried turning it on, but it won't turn on. Then i connected it to my mac to see if it would turn on, but it didn't.
Now I don't know what to do! Help! What should i do now?
Added (1). Oh, and does anyone know how i can get my pictures back?
This wouldn't have happened with a Sony Xperia Z.
Anyways, just relax and accept you lost your "precious" iPhone.
You need to be more careful with the "next" smartphone you get, after 5 days in rice I fear there's no hope.
Your not stupid, many teenaged girl drown their iPhones in their toilets, so just be more careful with your next phone, rumors claim that the new iPhone (or iPhones) will be out soon.
Sounds like it's dead for good. You could keep it in rice for another week or two, but it's highly unlikely that it will ever turn on again. As for the pictures, all pictures are saved on your phone, and then the photo stream. If you have any other Apple devices with the same Apple ID on it, then the pictures should be available on those devices. If you iCloud storage is full, then the pictures won't save unless you deleted some of the backups.
