I dropped my iPhone 5c in the pool?
I dropped my phone in the pool and immediately after taking it out it still worked, however I dried it off a bit and took off the case and now it won't turn on. I also plugged it in (I know a big nono but I panicked) and it said the battery was low then it would go to the turning on thing with the black screen an apple logo in the middle then back to battery (when I dropped it it had a full battery.) It's been sitting in rice for a while but it still won't turn on and I want to know if there's hope and anything I can do.

Take it as a lesson; you put power to a device that you knew had (or could have) water inside. That means that any current that was passing through the circuitry was suddenly distributed to EVERYTHING the water was in contact with. You may have totally destroyed all the inner electronics of the phone.
Water and electricity are a dangerous combination. This time you may only need a new phone. If you drop the radio in the bathtub, you'll need a casket.
You can try putting your cell in a pot with rice or a bag of rice and that or cover all for 48 hours
- My Iphone 4 fell in a pool but not just a normal pool? It fell off my pocket and stayed at the bottom of the pool which was filled with sea water for 10 minutes, is there even 1% chance of it beeing fixed?

- IPhone 4 was dropped in my pool? I got it out and didn't think to turn it off. I had music playing and it stopped. I dried it off and it's been in a bowl of rice since 5. My back camera has water droplets inside the camera (it looks foggy) and my flash won't shut off. My phone was on 75% when I dropped it. It's been 5 and a half hours. Shouldn't the battery have died already? Will my phone ever work again? And how long should I keep my phone in the rice?
- I Dropped my iphone 4S in the pool? I dropped my iphone in the pool for about 2 seconds only about a foot down. I had an otter box on it and quickly took of the case and dried it off. It worked fine til about 30mins ago the home button stopped working and I can no longer charge it. I just the phone 3 weeks ago and was wondering how much it would cost for a new one or the warranty would cover it. I have Verizon if that matters. I'm just really sad that my new phone is ruined.
