I dropped my iPhone in the toilet?

I immediately took it out what do I do?
It's being a little glitchy please help

RUN, PUT IT IN A BAG OF RICE FOR 24 HOURS. THIS WILL ABSORB WHAT IT CAN

Take it apart as much as you can without breaking it and dry it out as much as you can. However, it will probably still be glitchy. You may need a new phone…

Turn it off and leave it to dry.

Shut if off. Put it in bowl of uncooked rice for a few hours! Don't turn it back on… Until thtfew hours is up! Future info whenever you get any electronic wet immediately turn it off for a few hours and dry it. Reason for uncooked rice it absorbs water goodluck!

Throw that bad by in a zip lock bag full of uncooked rice As soon as possible.

I had this happen before but you put your phone in a bag of rice and let it sit there for a day or two. The rice soaks up all of the excess water. It worked for my Ipod touch!
But you might have to take it to Apple and pay for it to get fixed, or replace it which is so expensive.
But do you have insurance on your phone? Go to At&t or Verison and see what they could do.

One time I droped my iPhone in the bathtub,(never text while bathing). It sucks.unfortunately iPhones are not waterproof at all. Turn it off and leave it to dry outside.

Why didn't you flush it?

DO NOT TURN IT ON AGAIN. Do what is stated above.take it apart, your case if you have one, stick it into a bag of rice. You then want to wait a very lone time, as long as possible. The longer you wait the better you have at reviving it. They can resist some water but could cause a short. When you feel you absolutely need your phone back, take it out of the rice and take a hairdryer to it. DO NOT GET TO CLOSE TO IT. You don't want to damage the phone itself. The glitchy-ness is probably because there's water behind your screen. It is touch sensitive and the water is going to distribute you finger press like your finger is two inches in diameter. There are other remedies, but this way will work the best… Other then a carefully executed disassemble and stick into the oven. I wouldn't recommend that though.

EDIT: DON'T STICK THE ENTIRE THING IN THE OVEN, THAT IS A MISCONCEPTION!
