I dropped my iPhone in water and now the screen won't turn on what should i do?
It seems like the phone is still working because it still makes noise when I touch the buttons and my alarm still went off this morning but the screen is completely black. It is in rice now but is that still the best solution if everything is working except my screen? And I know I'm supposed to turn it off but I can't because the screen won't work.

Uhh you have a chance, my bro jumped in a pool with his envy touch and the screen didn't work for like a day or so but it eventually worked but you mighthave to take the phone to get it repaired or replaced
Just leave it in the rice completely submered for about 30 minutes. Don't touch it. Now take it out and plug it into your computer. Hold the lock button And home button for A few seconds. The apple logo sbould appear an it should work. If it still doesn't work visit apple and ask if they can repair it. Don't tell them you dropped it in water or they won't fix it. Say you don't know why it isn't working. Then they will probably fix or replace it.
