I feel embarassed to have the older iphone?

I know I should be grateful to even have one but I have an iphone 4S and most people have the 5, 5C or the 5S. My two year contract is not up until Febuary of next year so I can't get a new one. I just feel embarassed to still have the older version. Anyone else?

Get a job and buy a new or stop complaining.

Not at all. You need to not let the world define you. It's a phone. If youre letting yourself get embarrassed about something as simple as a phone generation, how are you going to survive the world? There are differences all over the place, find security in yourself and don't allow yourself to be defined by materials.

Dude, I have an iPhone 3GS. Stop complaining and enjoy it. Most people have a 4S. I've only met two people my age with a 5/5C/5S.

Don't feel embarrassed, most people probably don't even notice that it is a 4S and the ones that do don't care. None of my friends can afford an iphone at all, and neither can I.

That version isn't even old… The only reason why I have a 5s, is cus my mom offered to buy it for me since both of our contracts were up by a while and she was getting one for herself.

I didn't beg, plead or whine for it, she suggested it, I liked it and this way I can get a phone and iPod in one so I'm not taking two separate things while I ski. Plus my iPod had been cracked for quite some time, and by cracked I mean there's like a chunk out of the screen haha.

This is the stupidest thing Iv'e ever heard. Some people still have flip phones be glad you have one, You will end up getting a iPhone 5, 5c, 5s. Just work for it!

I have a Nokia Brick phone and i would do anything for an iPhone, id be so happy with the 4s so quit complaining and be grateful, save your money because do you really need an update? And who honestly cares what phone you have!
