I forgot my restrictions passcode for my iPhone 5?
I don't know of any other way to reset the restrictions passcode without resetting the phone as a new iPhone! I'm at a loss here…

Ding ding. You are correct. Worse? You have to erase any backups in iCloud or iTunes you have. Why? The code is embedded in all of them. Set up as new and put your stuff on it one-by-one style. Erase all backups and make a new one. Only true way to fix that. Apple and nobody else can retrieve it if you don't remember it. Best luck.
- My iPhone 4s won't let me reset it without a restrictions passcode? It says I need to put in the restriction password to do it but I never made a restriction password I don't know what it's talking about… Is there a way to erase that password I have no idea what it is or how it's on there
- I set an iPhone restrictions password on my phone, but forgot it? My younger nephew was borrowing my phone for the week, so I turned restrictions on. But, I forgot the password. I have 9 failed attempts, what happens if I get to 10? I know the phone will be wiped, but does that mean everything will be put to factory settings, or that I can't use my phone at all, or I won't be able to guess the password anymore? Sidenote- Non-jail broken iPhone 3GS, iOS 6.0.1. And I don't own a computer and I can't restore it from one anyway.
