I have an iphone 5 should i upgrade or wait for an iphone 7?

I have bought an iphone 5 two years ago from today. With the new iphone 6s that has recently came out i'm wondering whether i should get an iphone 6s or wait for an iphone 7.

Absolutely the 6s was only made as an intro to the 7, same as the 5s and the 4s

Get the 6s on Apple's iPhone upgrade program, youll end up paying less for the phone and you'll get the iphone 7 next year

I would upgrade now, otherwise you will be waiting another year and then your 5 is worth less also for trade in or selling.

Up to you if you want to wait a further 11 months for the iPhone 7 or get a 6s now.

I think you should wait. 5s are nice anyway. If it gets damaged, then yes. Go ahead and upgrade. But if not, don't worry about it!

It depends how long you are willing to wait.

Apple generally releases a new iPhone every 9 Months, with the 6S and 6S Plus just releasing, you'll be waiting a little under a year for the next one.

I had been using a 4S and finally upgraded to the 6S on the pre-order release date. While the 6S doesn't have too many boasting features to the 5S, it definitely does to the 4S. It depends which features will be of more use to you, such as the deep-press, which really only has an use to Apple created Apps, or the larger of the new upgrades which would be the 12MP Camera, opposed to the 8MP on the 5S. As well as 4K recording, and of course that the 6S is more powerful, faster, and if you will "beefed up" internally.

Of course, if you're pickier like I'm, then you won't get a flagship model of the iPhone (I.e. The 5S to 6 Model) where they completely change the housing and new features on the first run-around, I usually give them a couple of months to work out the kinks before upgrading.

You should wait until your old phone brakes unless you can still get an artificially priced phone or are you going to pay over $700 for a 64 gig phone?
