I just dropped my iphone in water
I was washing the dishes and i dropped my phone into a bowl full of water! I pulled it out right away and put it in rice but it won't turn on! Is there anything else i can do? I'm gonna be dead if its brocken!
Try putting it on a bed of salt or on some of them little bags you get in the box with electrical or leather goods.
Try sealing it up in a bag of dry rice for 24 hours. The rice will draw out the moisture, but it takes a long time.
Take the battery out also and don't turn it on, let it all dry out for 3 days or so as water can ruin electrical parts.
Put it in rice and let it sit there overnight

- Iphone Damage? I just dropped my iPhone? I just dropped my iPhone and I'm worried I damaged it. I have a casemate case on it and I just dropped it on the wood floor. I don't see any damage, there are no cracks or visible damage, and the screen still works fine. But I'm still worried. Is there anything I should check or any damage I might have? - I just dropped my iPhone 5c in water: is it ok? I've had bad luck with my phone the past few days. Two days ago, I tripped and my phone flew from my hand and cracked the screen of it. Luckily, it still worked fine after that. About ten minutes ago, I dropped it in my sink of water. It was submerged for about 1 second. I grabbed it quickly and used a hair dryer to dry the charging and headphone port. Will my phone be ok if I don't put it in rice? Will the cracks on the screen affect how the water will damage my phone?
