I just got a new iPhone 5 but i can't get it passed the linked apple ID?
My uncle recently gave me his iPhone 5 but its linked to his apple iD witch i don't know and the phone doesn't let me get passed this page any suggestions or help? Also i can't contact my uncle and ask him for his apple ID because he doesn't know it.
No can do. It must be unlinked from the account first. So ask your uncle how many email addresses he have and basically ask him to try everything because if you don't your iPhone will just be a nice and expensive paperweight
If necessary you may have to make an appt at the Apple store if your uncle doesn't know it, they can probably help you get it reset.
Guess you'd have to go to an Apple Store & have them sort that out. I assume it is on iOS 7 so even restoring wouldn't be an option since it would require the Apple ID password (a security feature). If possible have your uncle go with you as to not raise suspicions that the phone may have been stolen.
