I need to know my Wi-Fi password?
I can't sem to remember my wi-fi password, but i do have some devices such as my iphone connected to my wi-fi. Though i just bought a new computer and gave away my old one so i have no computers connected to my wi-fi, but is there a way to find out my password using my phone?
The easiest thing to do is to create a new password for you router.
If you have a LAN cable, connect the new computer with that, depending on the router, you want to browse to http://192.168.1.1, and from this administration panel change the password of the Wi-Fi.
There's no way to get the password out of your phone without some hacking.
The only way to see or change the Routers Wi-Fi key (password) is to connect a computer directly to the router by Ethernet Cable.
Then the steps get quite involved but here they are:
1. Open up the command Prompt (DOS) and type IPCONFIG.
Write down the Gateway IP address. Something like this: 192.168.0.1
2. Close the command prompt and open a browser and enter the IP address in the address field.
3. Enter the User Name and Password for the Router. Normally the user Name is ADMIN and the password is also ADMIN or PASSWORD of just blank.
IF you can't get past this step, then you need to default the router. Get a paper clip and find a very small hole on the rear or side of the router. Press in the button with the paper clip and hold it for a few seconds until all the lights on the router start to blink. Then the router will be reset to factory defaults. And there will be NO Wi-Fi key.
Once you get into the settings go to the Wi-Fi security section where you can see or change the KEY.
IF you have to set the encryption pick WPA PSK.
You don't state the make of your router, so its more difficult to make suggestions or tell you the IP login. If you jave never changed it, during set up, then check the label on the router Wi-Fi KEY… Or if both your router and PC has WPS select that, then press that on your router. If thats not possible ring your internet provider or a last resort, use the Reset buton and set it (router) up again.
Reset the router, set a new key and then add it to your devices.

Since you have only 1 device connected via Wi-Fi it may be just easier to login to the router and just change the Wi-Fi password. Then all you need to do is update the iphone password with the new one.
- My iPhone is locked and I can't remember the password it only lets me try one password before locking down now it says connect to iTunes? What am I supposed to do? I have connected to iTunes but it says it needs me to answer on my phone and I can't do that
- Is there any way I can use my deceased father's iphone X even though I don't know his password or his e-mail password? My dad passed away recently. He had a fairly new iPhone X. However when I tried to restore my old phone's data I restored the wrong phone. I tried to go into setting and ease all contents but it asked for a password that I didn't put into my phone and didn't create. I have no clue what to do.
