I received an iphone that's locked is there anything i can do?
I got a iphone that someone bought me on ebay. The problem is is that its linked to someone's account and now that account is locked so the iphone is disabled. I tried restoring it and it doesn't work cause the iphone is disabled. Is there anything else i can do?
Go to iTunes on a computer and change it back to factory settings and it will allow you to make a new account. Hope this helps
Ps you need to connect your phone to your computer with a usb wire.
You can restore iphone using itunes in recovery mode.
Go to your service provider… Aka AT&T… They maybe able to unlink the account to the phone. Just explain to them what happened. Hopefully it's not stolen or they may come after you and your friends and family… J/k. There's no such thing *** the iPhone police ;-)
