I reset my used iphone 5 and its registered to a apple id?
I bought a used iphone tonight and i reset it, but when i went to set it up, it was registersed to the previous owners apple id.
Not good.
You may be able to contact the service provider or choose one(If it was unlocked) and they could walk you through resetting it. The only issue is whether that was a contract iPhone or prepaid. Many companies now might not reset the phone if it was still under contract, or worse was reported stolen.
- Will the MAC address of my iPhone reset if I reset my iPhone to its factory settings over iTunes? I have jailbroken my device and used terminal to change my MAC address so that I could connect to school's Wi-Fi. But when I wanted to change it to its initial number, I typed in a wrong value and it just messed up my Wi-Fi, I can't connect to Wi-Fi anymore. Wonder if resetting to factory settings would help…

- I reset my jailbroken iPhone 6 and now its stuck on the apple logo? I completely reset my iphone 6 and it got stuck on the logo. I tried to connect it to itunes on my computer to reset it but it doesn't recognize my device. My itunes is up to date and so is my windows computer. I've already tried using different usb cables, restarting my computer and even uninstalling and installing itunes. My iPhone charges but stays on the same apple logo.
