( I got in trouble for using data, I used just enough data, to the point where If i waited just one day my data minutes would have rolled over, but my dad strictly prohibited me from using data at all)

- I want to buy an iphone 5 but can I activate it 2 weeks after I get it? The reason I want to order it is in case it goes out off stock before I'm due my upgrade 3rd of november, so my question is can I buy the iphone 5 contract phone then activate it two weeks after it arrives as it won't get here until 2-3 weeks anyways? - I want an iPhone 4s but don't want to pay alot monthly? We have a family plan with 4 dumb phones through Verizon. I want to upgrade to an iPhone 4s. I would leave the plan but it seems stupid when they charge you 45 for the phone a month plus the cost of the phone. What will it cost to stay on the family plan just to add the iPhone?
