If i Jailbreak my iPhone 6 with Pangu, will it carrier unlock the iPhone?
I'm looking to carrier unlock my Vodafone UK iPhone 6 so that i can use my O2-UK sim card in it. I've read on websites that the new Pangu Jailbreak for iPhone 6 will unlock an iPhone as well as the Jailbreak, is this actually the case as the websites aren't very clear. Has anyone done it? Or do you know if it does carrier unlock the iPhone 6? -- Any help is greatly appreciated. I don't really want to pay £100+ for an unlock code that can take a week to be sent to me from a random website.
No it will not, an unlock has not been released yet. The iPhone 6 Jailbreak is also still very glitchy. I had to restore my phone from it as it would no longer send picture messages, and when I tried to reboot it, the iPhone would only display the apple sign and would not fully boot.
No. Jailbreaking and Unlocking are two different things and one has zilch to do with the other. You'll have to buy an unlock code for that. Best luck.
- Stuck on lockscreen after jailbreaking with Pangu? I jailbroke it yesterday morning and when i try to unlock (i have no passcode) i can see my home screen wallpaper but no apps or anything. Then after a few seconds it reboots and the cycle continues. I have an iPhone 4. Please Help! I've also done the light and earphone trick, but nothing works!
- Pangu says already jailbroken? I downloaded Pangu and had Cydia on my iPhone but I deleted it. I want to re download it but whenever I try to jailbreak with Pangu, it says iphone already jailbreak. How can I fix this?!
