If I replace the back cover of an iPhone 4s, does it void the warranty?

I'm thinking about taking my white back cover and replacing it with a green one off amazon (because mine is cracked). But I was wondering if it will void my warranty.

Yes it does

If you do it perfect, nobody could identify that you have replaced it. Replacing the back cover is easy, just unscrew two screws then replace it for a new one. But you have to got a OEM one that is originally produced by Apple.

  • Will taking my iPhone to a cellphone repair shope void the warranty? There's a cell phone repair shop nearby my house. The top button of my iPhone 5 has become unresponsive. I've only had it since December. I went to the apple store, but they wanted to replace the entire phone. I thought that was crazy just for a button. Will taking my iPhone to a cell phone repair shop just to see what they say or if they can fix it end up making my warranty void?
  • Will scratches and minor dents void my iPhone 4's warranty? Yesterday I called apple because my lock screen button had been pushed in, I was told that as long as it hadn't been dropped, which it hadn't, that it should be replaced at the spot but I'd have to bring it into an apple store. Now what's worrying me is that there's a few scratches around my lock button because I used to like wearing long acrylic nails and using them to take debris out of in between the button. Will this void my warranty in any way?
  • Will getting my iPhone 4S unlocked by my carrier void my warranty? I'm currently on T-Mobile, but wish to switch to GiffGaff. If I ring up T-Mobile and pay the required cost to get it unlocked, will it void my warranty?
