If you connect to someone's Wi-Fi on an iphone will they know you connected?
I connected to someone's by accident and i don't know how to "unmark" it
Added (1). It was unprotected… And I clicked it by accident. Even worse, it was a NYPD stake out van. I'm scared. Do you guys know how to unconnect from it?
They will if they check the security logs. It will show the time you logged in, your IP address, and the time you logged out. If there aren't hours in between, they'll probably know it was an accident. If their Wi-Fi is unprotected, they probably don't even care.
They can yes. It will show up their local network.
They won't know you're connected without going into the routers set up and then you need to know where to look or they'll need to check the network and maybe map a local drive which is doubtful they'll do which means it's very doubtful they'll find out
They can yes by looking at the logs which can be easily located on the router settings.
To "unmark" it go to Setting > Wi-Fi > Click the blue & white arrow next to the unknown Wi-Fi > Press "Forget this Network".
Don't worry about any consequences as long as you haven't done anything illegal using their Wi-Fi and you done it as a genuine mistake it will be fine.

- What happens when you block someone on an iPhone 6, and they text you or call you? Specifically, does the phone keep ringing or does it say the call can't be made? Does the text deliver and just never show up on the receiving phone, or does the sender get a message saying the text can't be sent? (The other phone is not an iPhone.)
- What happens if you block someone and they attempt to call or text you? I have a Verizon 4s iphone. I recently got the ios7 update and it comes with an option to block contacts. What happens if I block my ex and he tries to call me? Text also? Will he be notified that I blocked him? Or what happens?
- Can they get into the phone if they know the passcode when it's in lost mode? I had an iPhone with a passcode and it and it got stolen by someone I know. But they know the passcode to get in the phone. If the phone is in lost mode, can they still open the phone with the passcode? Or you you have to disable it through Find my IPhone? I won't report this person but I want to make sure they can't use the phone, even if they have it.
