If you remove the Passcode on a iPhone 4 will the Find My iPhone app still work?
I lost my iPhone 4 on Saturday & I switched of the cellular data before I lost it & the Phone has a Passcode, Can the Person who stole my phone unlock the Phone in Namibia & will I still be able to locate if he removes the Passcode. I don't have the serial # My dad brought it from Germany without a box. & I tried Locating & Locking it but its currently offline
Impossible.
If he want to use your iPhone but can't unlock your Passcode, he will connect to PC and reset your phone.
Find my iphone only works with All these conditions.
1. Power ON
2. Find my iPhone is enabling.
3. Internet connection(cellular data or Wi-Fi)
In fact, he will reset and format your phone when he can't use it.
Or,
He unlock your passcode, but NO internet connection is available. You can't locate it.

- What to do if you forgot you iphone passcode and you didn't even put your iCloud account in? When i first got my iphone i set the passcode as 000000 but I somehow typed too fast and hit something else and i did it TWICE. I didn't even get a chance to log in my apple id account. I don't know what to do.
- My iPhone just got stolen and i didn't put on Find my iphone. Is there a way i can find it without find my iphone? I have found out that i can remove my iphone from associated devices. Does doing this erase the iphone?

- Iphone asking me for a passcode to install update. I never set up a passcode. Options? I just tried to update my iphone to 7.1.1 and i'm being asked for a passcode. I never set one up, but entered what I would have made it, and now have a message saying "FAILED. One more attempt". What happens if I get this final attempt wrong? How do I continue with update if I can't remember this passcode?
