Interior lights on car not working?

I have a 2000 volvo c70 and I blew a 15a fuse put a 30a in and everything worked fine. I already had a little neon plugged in my other cigerette liter, and I plugged a iPhone charger in and it all shut off. My sunroof can't even work, the fuse isn't blown either. Any suggestions?

You probably need to see an auto electrician, not all modern gadgets will work in some cars unless there's some kind of circuit breaker or re-wiring done. You need to get it sorted As soon as possible especially with the sunroof being involved.

The fuse keeps the wiring from frying so in your infinite wisdom (doubling the fuse amperage) you may have burned through a wire in the harness somewhere.

However -step back look at all of the fuses assess everything else that is not working and use your owners manual to help identify the the location of all the fuses (there are main fuses as well as component fuses) that may have stepped in to save the harness.

  • Is the camera on the iPhone 5s good enough for northern lights? I'm heading to the north of Sweden for a few weeks in January hoping to see the northern lights. I was going to buy a camera but I'm upgrading to the iPhone 5s this week and have heard good things about the camera, so I'm wondering if I should just use it and spare further expense. Anyone taken photos of the northern lights with an iPhone 5s?
  • Iphone app that controls lights? I heard there's an app where you can control the lights on your iphone if you forgot to turn them off at home. However, I heard some apps you actually need to pay for the service if its Lutron or whatnot. Some apps are free but you have to order some other service thingy. Is there a free app that just requires Wi-Fi and no electronic charge all around the house?
