IOS 7 fault downloading on iPhone 4S?
Ok so I have an apple iPhone 4S with more than enough room to download the new update, there's nothing illegal on my phone nor is it an insurance rip off, I have followed the instructions to download an my grandad who has the same phone is having no problem downloading it, we also live in the same house so it's not signal, so why do I keep getting a message saying there's a fault downloading?
Due to the large amount of people trying to download the update today, the servers are most likely overloaded. I'm downloading it right now and it seems to be going fine. My roommate was having problems earlier as well, but his works fine now. Just give it some time and try again in a little bit. Make sure you backup your phone via itunes or iCloud so that you don't have any issues with your current configuration.
Plug it in to charge, make sure it has at least 50% at all times (leave it plugged in)
If that does not work try using itunes as you can update from there too.
- Will downloading IOS 9 delete the storage that iOS 8 took up? I have a 16gb iPhone 6, and it come with iOS 8, and I only had 11.6 gb to work with as soon as I got the phone with all of the software installed. My question is: will downloading iOS 9 delete the iOS 8 data, thus freeing up more space after the download because iOS 8 took up more storage?
