IPad 2 won't connect to home Wi-Fi (but other iOS devices and laptop are connecting fine)?
I have successfully connected my laptop, iPhone 4, AND iPod Touch (2nd gen) to our home Wi-Fi, but my iPad 2 won't connect. It keeps saying that my password is incorrect. Well, it was correct for all my other devices! I haven't made a typo or anything like that because I have re-tried at least a dozen times, very carefully, and it still says the password is wrong even though it was correct a few minutes ago when I set up my iPod Touch for the first time.
Any ideas? Are iPads more susceptible to this kind of thing?
If the password is correct and all that, make sure that you are connecting to the right AP.
Make sure Check the iPad settings to see that everything is correct.
Check the iPad settings to see if you are using DHCP.
Check in the Wi-Fi router settings that you have not accidentally blocked the MAC address of the iPad.
Someone could have changed the password, edit your router and find it or ask if anyone has.
OR you are running an incompatible type of security for the iPad like WEP ( I doubt that it would be WEP )

- One laptop can connect to our home Wi-Fi network but no other devices can connect? We recently set up a wireless internet connection in our house. One laptop can connect to it (the one I'm currently on) but no other devices can connect to it. It says our "Network Security Key" is mismatched. I have tried typing in all the different codes on both the router and modem on both our second laptop and an iPhone 5. How can I fix this?
- None of my devices will connect to my home wi-fi but my family's work fine? So it started when I was using my laptop at home and the wireless connection suddenly became "limited" (I use windows 8). My phone won't work either. I used "forget network" for both of my devices and started anew, but nothing, still "limited". My family's devices are just fine, it won't connect as long as the device is mine apparently… It's an iPhone the phone I'm using.
- My Wi-Fi won't connect on my laptop but will connect to my other devices (an iPhone and iPad)? I have a MacBook Air. Sometimes it does connect but other times it just won't. It takes ages connecting and then in the end comes up with the exclamation mark or is just blank. Is this a problem with my laptop? I've tried researching the problem but have found nothing.
