Iphone 3gs imessage not working?
The imessage on my iphone suddenly stopped working yesterday. I send the message and it comes up as sending and the bar starts to load but right before the end it stops.also, if i leave that conversation and come back to it the message is gone and not sent. It is connected to my Wi-Fi and I have tried turning the phone on and off and also imessage on and off but nothing has worked.
Do a hard reset of the phone by holding the lock button and home button together for a while until you see the apple logo.
That normally sorts out loads of problems of this kind!
The same thing happened to me once but not in my own Wi-Fi connection. I visited a house of a friend and connected to his Wi-Fi. Apparently i was able to connect and browse the internet and use other messaging apps but when i tried using imessage, it wouldnt let me send messages. It would try to send but the sending bar would stop loading just before it reaches the end. I don't really know what's wrong here but when i tried it again at home using my Wi-Fi connection, it worked perfectly.
I guess it has something to do with the network connection or compatibilty or a glitch maybe? Try connecting to other networks and see if the problem persists.
- Why is my iPhone 5 imessage not working all of a sudden? This has never happened before. It was working fine all day up until about an hour or so ago. I tried restarting and all of the "fixes" but nothing worked… Help!
- Imessage for iphone still not working I have an iphone 4 and my imessage always always always stops working! I usually have to keep resetting network settings all the time just to get it to work again but now it's just stopped working all together! - IPhone push/imessage not working? Been having problems with my iPhone for about an hour, all of a sudden iMessage's have stopped sending and I'm unable to get any push notifications (twitter, facebook, etc) are coming through. I've reset the phone numerous times to no avail. Any ideas what else I can do? I've checked notifications in settings and their all on. It's happened before but it hasn't stopped my iMessage working too.
