IPhone 3GS JailBroken Update?
I have a jailbroken iPhone 3GS running 4.1, How do I update to the next version?
I tryed doing the dfu mode, +++click restore to 4.2, but I got a 3149 error the other time I got a 1015 error.
Added (1). Can I update to 4.2 just by using redsn0w or do I have to update using iTunes then jailbreak?
Of the blobs you have saved, 4.3 would be the last one that supports an untethered jailbreak. You can use TinyUmbrella's server to upgrade to 4.3. Then use jailbreakme.com or redsn0w.
Or, just go ahead and let iTunes upgrade to 4.3.5 and you can use redsn0w. That would be a tethered jailbreak, meaning you have to connect it to the computer and run redsn0w with "just boot tethered now" every time it is shutdown or rebooted.

I want to undo my jailbreak, and every time i try to update, i get this message that says "there was a problem downloading the software for iphone "ericas iphone" the network connection timed out. I don't get what this means, i'm connected to Wi-Fi, i've tried everything i have my firewall off, i updated itunes, i don't know what else to do. I have even tried retstarting my phone and that message still pops up, ANY IDEAS!
