IPhone 3GS stuck in Emergency Call?
So, my friend has an iPhone 3GS. It's stuck in the Emergency Call screen and iTunes won't recognize his iPhone.
Now, I know about DFU mode. Only problem is, his power button is broken. Y'know, the button on the top of the phone, which is required for DFU mode (at least I think it is).
Please, I just want to help him out. Is there any way he can fix this?
You can try taking the battery out of the phone and re-turning it on. Not sure, try taking it into a store and see if they can fix it. If not I'm sure you can order a new phone if it's damaged or not working properly.
I don't know. But this shouldn't be in the education section. Just saying.
- When I go on a bike ride or just walk around, my phone screen turns on for some reason and starts dialing numbers in the Emergency Call? Also it has locked me out of my phone for putting in the wrong passcode numerous times. Is there an answer to fix this? I have an iPhone 6S
- What happens when you press Emergency call on your IPhone 4S? So when my phone is locked, it says "Emergency call" underneath the 7. I have pressed it many times on accident. And when I do, it gives me a dial pad and says "emergency call" in like five different languages. So it doesn't call anybody unless you dial a number. So what would happen if I called someone and it wasn't an emergency? Like my parents or something? Would it go into like a regular call or will it connect to the emergency response too?
- What happens on the IPhone 4 when you hit emergency call at lock screen? I'm asking specifically for the iPhone 4 if you don't know then please don't make something up I REA that it prompts a screen for you to place a call and I've also read that is automatically starts calling 911 which is true
- IPhone 6s Plus, how do you mute a call while on call? (not how to mute ringer)? I have a new iPhone 6s Plus and need to listen in on conference calls without other people on the call hearing me type in the background or the kids, so how do I Mute the sounds on my end so I can listen in without disturbing the others on the call? My current phone keypad on the iPhone 6s Plus only shows 1-9,0 *, and # buttons.
