Iphone 3gs stuck on blank screen?
I did something with sb settiungs i cliked on a random button and had to hard restart the phone then was stuck on white screen i have just replaced whole front and can hear phone have tried Hard Restart and system restore but they don't work can't take to apple store as i live in new zealand and there are no apple stores any suggestions apart from takeing to apple store
Well you said SB settings, so that means its jailbroken, so the apple store wouldn't do anything anyway as it voids your warranty, they would probably just offer to sell you a new one for an outrageous amount. It would help if you could say what button you pressed on SB settings. The only buttons that would cause the phone to turn off are the respring and power button. There's probably something wrong with your jailbreak. Plug it into your computer and restore it. But if it updates you might not be able to jailbreak again, depending on how new it is. I haven't been keeping up with the latest firmware as I'm still on 5.1.1 and have no need to update.

- Why does my screen go blank when I cover the cam on my iPhone on the Skype app? I have an iPhone 5 and when I'm on Skype - even when I'm not in a call and I cover the camera my screen goes blank. It also does this when I'm on the home screen and signed into Skype but not when I log off - I don't know whether this always happens and I've just never noticed it or whether something is up? X

It is just a blank screen and i can't hook it up to my computer because it has a passcode lock which i can't reach because the phone is blank. I opened cydia and it wouldnt open so i locked the phone trying to fix it, hoping to lock and unlock to help. It just stayed on a black screen. Still vibrates saying charging but no screen response
