Iphone 4 activation problem?
So a couple of days ago my niece wanted to sell her iPhone 4, iOS 7.1.2, she used it as an iPod cause she didn't feel like unlocking it. Its some Swedish carrier idek. So, she did a reset and she can't activate it, that is, she can't use it cause she can't get past the sim card screen on the start, it requires the sim from the original carrier. Is there anything we can do or is unlocking it the only way?
Unlocking is the only way. She'll need to somehow obtain a SIM card from the carrier, or get the carrier to unlock the phone.
In the past, it used to be possible to "hacktivate" iPhones, which basically got around this restriction, but it no longer works with newer iOS versions, and plus, it had disadvantages, such as no push notifications and battery life might be affected.
You have to use a SIM from the same carrier or unlock it.

On my phone i have a bunch of songs and i turned of home sharing with my friend. So i got all of her songs to. i'm ok with that.anyways on my ipad i have all the songs I bought. I want to get all the songs i hve on my phone to my ipad. I don't know how though. I use the same apple id and everything. On my ipad i went to songs not on ipad folder but found nothing?
- IPhone activation for iPhone 4s? I just received an iPhone 4S from my family and a have an iPhone 4 I want to switch them. How do I go about that I activated it myself but you can't make calls on it. Also my iphone has no SIM card.
