IPhone 4 crashes when opening messages app?

So, I was messing around texting a friend and I wanted to see how long a message could get… I got it to 14, 400 characters and accidentally exited to home screen. Upon opening the messages app the app crashes, presumably because it tries to load the really long unsent message. Every time I open the app this happens, and I already held the home and sleep buttons at same time and restarted, I also turned off the phone and turned it back on. Neither worked. I can see a text someone sends me through notification center, but when I try to open messages through notification center it still crashes
When it crashes it crashes to home screen

Plug it up to your pc or mac if you can't reboot it from the phone its the long message like you sdid restore the iphone and it will be fine

Just update your iPhone or restore it and it should turn back to normal
