IPhone 4 doesn't do anything when plugged into computer
I have an iPhone 4 and it won't do anything when I plug it into my computer to connect to iTunes. I have had it for over 1 year and it works fine when it's plugged into my iHome. I've tried restarting my computer, turning off my phone, plugged the cord into a different outlet, but still nothing! What gives? I haven't had any problems with it until recently. I really wanna sync my phone to my iTunes so I can get new songs on there! It's so frustrating! Can someone help me please!
Try holding the power button and home button for 20 seconds while plug to the computer.
- Will my iphone loose all it's music if plugged into a new computer? My brother gave me his iphone, but i'm afraid to plug it into my computer because i did this with an ipod and all the stuff got erased. I really don't want to loose all his music. Is there a way to get around that?
- My iPhone won't turn on unless its plugged into a wall charger? My first issue is, my phone won't turn on unless its plugged into the wall. When it finally turns on after being plugged in it tells me my phone needs to be restored and that it can't make or receive calls until so, well great but, when i unplug it from the wall it immediately turns off and will not turn on when plugged into my computer. I've tried different USB cables but none of them work.
- My iPhone's sound doesn't work when plugged in? When I plug my iPhone 4S into the charger, the sound is off and I won't let me turn it up. I just got a new charger today (not apple). How can I make the sound work while its plugged in? It's plugged into a wall outlet, not computer.
- My iPhone 5 says it's plugged in but it doesn't show the lightning bolt? When I plug in my iPhone to charge it shows the little plug intending that it is plugged in but it doesn't show the lightning bolt like it's supposed to when charging. If anyone knows how to fix this please help As soon as possible!
