IPhone 4 iOS 7.1.2 microphone
I bought a 'refurbished' iPhone 4 a while ago. When I first got it the sound on video and other recording apps (slo motion recorder, vine, voice changer etc) worked. Now when I record no sound comes out. There's still sound coming out of the voice recordings and auto rap (app). I have checked settings to make sure the microphone isn't disabled and tried re-setting my phone and neither have worked.
If I can't fix this I find that I won't be able to enjoy the pleasures of a smart phone.
Try doing a system restore with itunes, plug a iphone cable onto your pc with itunes running, turn off your phone, and plug in the cable pressing the home button, its pretty straight=forward from there

I was looking at the info on the Facebook app and the screenshot image showed one with the keyboard pulled up in that last photo.well next to the keyboard language symbol there was a microphone. Is that for texts or anything? And how dou change that setti g on my phone?
