Iphone 4: my home button is stuck
My home button is completly stuck down, i can't press it at all because nothing happpens. When i tery to press it it doesn't even like make that clicking noise. I heard a drop of baby oil would help, or oil. But could it be vegetable oil? Any other suggestions?
Putting oil on it is risky but it may help… Look at the ingredients to make sure it has no metals in it… Sodium is a metal btw… And if that doesn't work you can go to settings>general>accessibility>… Touch>on and that will give you an on screen home button
- Stuck iPhone 4 lock button! Stuck/Stripped screws Okay so, I've had this stupid panda case on my phone and it jammed my lock button. It still works if you push super hard from the side, but no clicking sound. I saw how to fix it by opening my phone up but the screws won't come out no matter what! I tried a screwdriver alone, with duct tape, rubber band, double sided tape, everything! I don't have a warranty on my phone, and I'm looking for a super inexpensive (>$5) way to fix it, any ideas?
- My iphone home button not working? I'm stuck in settings menu? I was deleting my unsed apps and it got stuck on the settings screen. I can mess with all settings just not exit settings. What do I do? I can't turn off my phone I've tried
- My home button and lock button don't work on my iphone 4 Okay so about 2 weeks ago my lock button stopped working and I don't know why so I went to mts store and they said to go to the apple store and i haven't been able to go yet and then tonight I was on my phone then I went to eat dinner so i put it in my sweater pocket then after dinner i took my phone out and it wan't responding! Is there anything I can do right now other than going to an apple genius? It's like 9 at night!
- Is there an iPhone app to go to the home screen? My Home button isn't working well? IIm afraid my home button will completely stop working soon enough, and i don't currently have money to replace it. I really only need the home function, but it would be really nice if it also had a screenshot function (because screenshots need the home + lock combo) Edit: If it makes any difference, my phone is an iPhone 3GS (old, lol) and has iOS 6.1.6.
